Update: Ivan Coates has now been located and is safe.
Prince Albert police are asking for the public’s help in locating Ivan Coates, a 71-year-old man who was reported missing on Saturday.
Coates was last seen Thursday near the Gateway Mall.
Police said in a Sunday release that Coates is an avid walker, and is approximately 5-feet-7-inches tall and 250 pounds, with short, gray hair and glasses.
He may be wearing the same green Saskatchewan Roughriders jacket that he’s wearing in the photo. He may also be wearing a ball cap.
Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Ivan Coates is asked to contact Prince Albert Police at 306-953-4222.
